The 3 words sabotaging your morning.

I whispered those words to my reflection every morning for three years straight. Standing there in clothes that never quite fit right - waist too big, butt too tight - let's not talk about the tops that pulled at my ever expanding chest🙄- trying to convince myself it didn't matter. Grab a belt and get dressed.

It was just clothes, right?

Wrong.

What I didn't realize was that those three little words - "meh, good enough" - were setting me up for failure before I even left my closet. They were the first compromise of my day, the first moment I told myself that feeling uncomfortable was somehow acceptable.

And here's what happens when you start your day with "meh"…

That slightly-too-tight waistband? It becomes increasingly irritating with every passing hour. The loose-fitting top that doesn't quite sit right? It has you adjusting and readjusting in every meeting. Here's a hint-if you are fidgeting with your clothing while looking in the mirror, take it off, it doesn't get better as the day goes on.

But it's not just about the clothes.

That initial "meh" seeps into everything. Suddenly, every red light feels like a personal attack. The slow internet connection? Absolutely infuriating. Your kids taking an extra minute to put on their shoes? Nearly sends you over the edge.

(Yes, each of these examples is from real life. 😉)

I spent three years telling myself I was "just waiting" to invest in clothes that fit properly. Three years of [not wanting to "waste money" on my current size] because I was frustrated about not fitting into the clothing I loved. Three years of starting every single day with a compromise and beating myself up over health issues and weight gain that I couldn't control.

Do you know how exhausting it is to constantly pull yourself back to positive when you're fighting against "meh" from the moment you get dressed?

If you've been nodding along, but not sure if it's THAT big of a deal, then let's talk about what "meh" is really costing you…

- That extra mental energy you spend trying to stay positive? It could be fueling your next big project.

- The confidence you're compromising? It's affecting how you show up in meetings, with clients, with your family. Do you feel like you would rather skip an event because you don't have anything to wear? That's not good!

- Those moments of frustration you're fighting all day? They're stealing your peace, your patience, and your presence. Frustration builds like a snowball rolling downhill…small inconveniences don't seem so small when you're struggling.

Here's what I finally realized- waiting to feel good until I lost that weight or you and your (insert future condition here) isn't saving anything - it's actually costing you everything.

Every "meh" morning is a day you're choosing to start at a deficit.

Every "good enough" outfit is a battle you're choosing to fight with yourself. All day long.

And let's be honest - you're too busy, too important, and too valuable to keep starting your days in surrender.

So here's what I want you to know…

You don't have to figure this out alone. You don't have to keep fighting that daily battle with your closet. And you definitely don't have to wait until (insert future date/size/circumstance) to feel good, dare I say beautiful, in your clothes.

Because this isn't really about the clothes - it's about how you're choosing to show up for yourself every single morning.
